Who we are

Young Futures Digital Limited is the controller for personal information collected through this website and our enquiries. Registered office: 124-128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Contact our data protection lead at dpo@youngfuturesdigital.co.uk. Our data protection fee registration status is confirmed to partners during supplier onboarding.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. We do not use local storage. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and to keep the site running; these are retained for a short period and not used to identify visitors.

Web fonts are loaded from Fontshare and Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font, those providers receive your IP address and browser details. See the Fontshare privacy policy and Google Fonts privacy information.

Enquiries and email

When you email us or use one of the enquiry buttons on this site, we receive your email address, name and whatever you choose to tell us. We use this to respond to your enquiry, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one and to keep a record of the conversation. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where we go on to work together, steps taken to enter a contract.

Do not include personal or sensitive information about a young person in an enquiry. If you do, we will delete it unless it discloses a safeguarding risk, in which case we act under our safeguarding policy.

Participants in our work

Where you take part in co-design, a workshop, research or a community insight activity, we give you a specific privacy notice for that activity before you start. It sets out what is collected, why, who sees it, how long it is kept and how to withdraw. Payment records for paid participation are kept for the period required by tax law.

Live products and services

Each live product or service we operate for a partner has its own privacy notice, agreed with the partner, and a data protection impact assessment where the processing is likely to be high risk, including any processing of children’s data or location. Subprocessors are listed in the product notice. Nothing on this website is a live product.

Sharing

• We never sell personal information.
• We share it only with the people needed to respond to you, with our email and hosting providers acting on our instructions, with a partner organisation where you have contacted us about their project, and where the law or safeguarding requires it.
• Transfers outside the UK, where a provider is based abroad, rely on the UK’s adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

Retention

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: deleted within 12 months of the last contact.
• Enquiries that lead to a contract: kept for the contract and six years after it ends, as required for legal and tax purposes.
• Safeguarding records: retained in line with statutory guidance.
• Server logs: 30 days or less.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability where it applies and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Email privacy@youngfuturesdigital.co.uk with the subject “Data protection request”. We respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
